The Montréal Alliance today unveiled its eight theme nights for the 2025 season, offering fans experiences that go well beyond basketball.

SEASON OPENER PRESENTED BY SUN LIFE (May 18)

The return of professional basketball to Verdun Auditorium promises to be memorable. An electrifying opening night where 3,500 spectators will enjoy a unique experience, including a special pre-game ceremony and surprises throughout the match. A perfect way to launch our fourth CEBL season.

EAST CLASSIC (May 23 and July 23)

The rivalry intensifies with the Ottawa BlackJacks! These two matchups promise to be among the most intense of the season. The atmosphere will be electric with special game presentation elements throughout the games, including unique promotions when the BlackJacks miss their shots. Fans from both teams always create a supercharged atmosphere, and this year will be no exception as we host our division rivals twice at the Auditorium.

HAITIAN HERITAGE NIGHT (June 6)

An evening celebrating Montréal’s rich Haitian culture. From music to local flavours and unique cultural performances, this night will showcase the vibrant Haitian community that is an integral part of Montréal’s identity.

ALLI-OOP’S BIRTHDAY BASH PRESENTED BY iSAUTE (June 22)

Our beloved mascot celebrates its birthday in style! A perfect day for families with interactive activities, games, and surprises. Kids will have the chance to meet Alli-Oop and participate in special contests throughout the afternoon.

VERDUN 150 (July 6)

A tribute to our home neighborhood celebrating its 150^th anniversary. This special evening will highlight Verdun’s rich history, local heroes, and the Auditorium’s importance in the development of sports in Montréal.

MTL TOGETHER (July 27)

A celebration of the diversity that makes Montréal strong. This evening will showcase the Alliance’s community programs alongside local organizations and leaders who contribute to our city’s development. Recognition moments will punctuate the evening to highlight the impact of these community heroes who use sport as a tool for social change.

FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT (August 4)

The grand finale of our regular season at home will be an opportunity to thank our loyal fans. An evening filled with surprises, gifts, and memorable moments to conclude the season in style.
