Montréal Alliance Sign Canadian Point Guard Freddy Ibrahim

The Montréal Alliance is pleased to announce the signing of Canadian Freddy Ibrahim for the remaining of the 2024 Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) season. A six-foot-three point guard, Ibrahim notably represents the Jordanian national team.

 

Ibrahim played his five professional seasons in Jordan with Orthodox Amman and in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli Jeddah. Last season with Orthodox Amman, Ibrahim averaged 16.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game.

 

Ibrahim played four collegiate seasons at the University of Tampa, where he played in 108 games and started 52. He had his best collegiate season in 2018-19, averaging 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

 

Internationally, the point guard has represented Jordan since 2019, with whom he notably played in the 2019 and 2023 FIBA World Cups. He averaged 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game during his last FIBA World Cup.
