Fourth Season Features Record 12 Games at Verdun Auditorium
The Montréal Alliance today announced its most comprehensive schedule to date, featuring 24 regular-season games as part of the Canadian Elite Basketball League’s (CEBL) new 2025 season format. This expansion includes a record 12 home games at Verdun Auditorium, highlighted by eight unique theme nights.
The Alliance will open its home schedule on Sunday, May 18 at 4:00 PM against the Brampton Honey Badgers. Single-game tickets for this home opener, presented by Sun Life, will be available through an exclusive pre-sale from December 4-11.
“This schedule expansion reflects the remarkable growth of professional basketball in Montréal,” said Jo-Annie Charbonneau, President of the Montréal Alliance. “The exceptional response from our fans since our arrival in 2022 allows us to now offer more high-level basketball to our community.”
“The move to 24 games enables us to build stronger rivalries with our Eastern opponents, particularly Ottawa,” noted Joel Anthony, General Manager. “With four matchups against the BlackJacks and games against every team in the league, our fans will see the best talent Canadian basketball has to offer. This new format also gives us more time to develop our team chemistry, a crucial aspect in our championship pursuit.”
