L’Alliance de Montréal a sélectionné le pivot de l’Université York, Liam Rietschin, au 20e rang du repêchage 2025 de la Ligue élite canadienne de basketball (LECB).The Montréal Alliance has selected York University center Liam Rietschin with the 20th overall pick in the 2025 Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Draft.
Liam brings imposing size and elite shot-blocking ability to the Alliance frontcourt. The 6’11” center from York University led the OUA in blocks last season with 62 total rejections, averaging 2.8 blocks per game. The Toronto native also demonstrated offensive growth in his final university season, posting career-highs with 14.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
