The Montréal Alliance announced on Saturday that American guard Jordan Bowden will be joining the Atlanta Hawks for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Bowden is expected to return to the team before the end of the regular season.
Bowden currently ranks fourth in the Canadian Elite Basketball League in points per game with 18.5. He also averages 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists, while shooting 37.8% from three-point range.
Before joining the Alliance, Bowden played four professional seasons in the NBA G League with the Long Island Nets (2020-2023), Maine Celtics (2023-24), and College Park Skyhawks (2023-24). With the Skyhawks, the Tennessee native averaged 17.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 48.2% from three-point range.
Bowden played four collegiate seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers, leading his team to two NCAA tournament appearances. In his final collegiate season, the American averaged 13.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He graduated ranked 24th in the program’s history for total points (1,365), seventh for three-pointers made (186), fifth for games played (132), and is one of four players to have recorded at least 1,000 points, 450 rebounds, and 250 assists in their career.
